An Act of Political Warfare

Safe, physically-distanced live theater now available

for bookings. A mobile outdoor theatre and

multi-disciplinary show performed out of a vintage convertible car, featuring a variety of L.A.'s finest Roots and Wings Project solo and ensemble artists.

Featured in this 2020 production: Four friends faced with challenges at a time of deep grief, dare to claim joy... Being released after 30 years of incarceration as an adolescent and an L.W.O.P. (Life Without Parole) sentence; having just survived COVID-19; urgently needing to reclaim artistry; and a fierce demand to be treated with respect in a paradigm of centuries-old inequities. These dear friends bring each other back to life in THE JOY RIDE ...An Act of Political Warfare...
