The Roots and Wings Project is 17 years strong, having produced work in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles among other cities, Specializing in Site-Specific work, the company has mounted productions in jails, streets, and bookstores with a surprise Site-Specific show soon to come. World-class venues include Lincoln Heights Jail, S.P.A.R.C. at the Old Jail in Venice, Theatre of Note, Casa 0101, The Rosenthal Theater at Inner-City Arts, The Last Bookstore, Sol Collective, No Ho Lit Crawl, LA Times Festival of Books, Espacio 1839, Kaleidoscope Kollective, Traxx at Union Station, Occidental College, UC Santa Cruz, California Institute for Integral Studies, Central Juvenile Hall,Venue 9, The Phoenix Theatre, and Surf Reality among others. The Roots and Wings Project is deeply honored to be recently awarded the Cultural Pathways Grant from California Arts Council.
